Panthera palaeosinensis was an early Pleistocene species from northern China. It appears to represent an early tiger or a form ancestral to the tiger.also known as the pleistocene tiger. these huge cats weighed 1080 lbs ( 470 kg ) being worthy contenders for largest cat ever.
